Politics in SVG

St. Vincent and the Grenadines I love you. Our little home is an independent country which is a member of the British Common Wealth of nations.
The people of this little nation elects who they know have the qualities of a good leader. General elections are held every five years. The campaigning season normally begin during the last year of each electoral term.  However in recent times, both the government and opposition seem to be in almost permanent election mood, which means that there's no end to their campaign.
We all know of the parties competing for government ( Unity Labour Party, New Democratic Party, Green Party and a new party which was formed called DDP). Our country is currently governed by the Unity Labour Party, a party that have our education in their highest interest.
The opposition on the other hand often criticizes for the sake of criticizing.
Citizens are also advertising affected by politics as family and friends get divided of different political persuasions.  Therefore in my opinion, politics in S.V.G is one of the most diverse factors in our society which needs to be unified.  It is also hampering our efforts to co-operate and develop as a people.

How can "blogs" be used to support and enhance Teaching and Learning in schools in St.Vincent and the Grenadines?

Since technology is so prominent teachers and students are used to writing and communicating using technological devices and websites such as Facebook, BBM or E-mail.  Reading other students and or teachers’ blogs and the students responding with their own views on the topic is considered as blogging.  A class blog unites all class announcements and assignment in one space with the instructor as the facilitator.  While doing this students can obtain clarity through class discussions, this shows that teaching does not have to be traditional in that the teacher is the only one with the knowledge and the students are seen as a blank slate.
Blogging can support teaching because it provides a forum for the quite students to speak and contribute ideas.  In addition students are provided with the opportunity to access more information through research while blogging therefore it allows them to multitask. Students are also willing to share their views on the blog rather than in class. Blogs can be used to develop student's self confidence and communication skills.
In essence blogging can be seen as an opportunity for students to experience and develop especially those who are likely to use digital technologies and media in the future.

"Same sex marriage should be legalized in St. Vincent and the Grenadines"

Same sex marriage is a marriage between two people of the same biological sex and or gender identity. Opponents of this idea claims that gay marriage should be legalized because we have our own choice, rights and freedoms. Some may go further to argue that marrying a homosexual can bring happiness, whereas marrying a person of a different sex whom one does not really love can bring life-long misery and disaster.

The most important reason of why gay marriages should not be allowed in St.Vincent and the Grenadines, will disobeying the moral order created by God.When one disobeys the moral order created by God one sins. Anyone who loves God will opposed this statement: Same sex marriage should be legalized in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

One biblical evidence states:

" Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven."{Genesis 19: 24-25 KJV}.

Secondly it turns a moral wrong into a civil right. Two individuals of the same sex, will not be able to marry because of the biological impossibility to produce children. Some people may further argue that they employ surrogates. On the other hand, "Does same sex union marriage serve as true marriage?" as it defeat one of the functions of marriage. Calling "same sex marriage" is not a marriage because marriage is a contract between a man and a woman and not a man and man or a woman and a woman.

Many times it has been said that St.Vincent and the Grenadines is a God fearing country and to our believe it is a country that respect God and honor God, therefore how can a God fearing country go against something that God has abolish before?
